Give the Gift of Life & Love
Become a Surrogate
Surrogacy is one of the most generous, meaningful things a person can do. We’re here to make sure this life-changing experience feels simple, personal, and fully guided. For over 20 years, our small, hands-on team has supported surrogates, from application to delivery.
Why an Agency Matters
You’re Never
Navigating This Alone
Being pregnant is already hard enough. Matching independently often means also navigating bills, logistics, and difficult conversations on your own. With Newborn Advantage Surrogacy, you have someone advocating for you, so you can focus on the experience and not everything around it.
Someone in Your Corner
A dedicated team by your side at every stage of the process, including when unexpected situations come up and need to be worked through together.

No Difficult Money Conversations
We handle the conversations around compensation, bills, and reimbursements, submitting and confirming everything through escrow, so you never have to bring it up yourself. And if something unexpected comes up along the way, we’re the ones who work it out with your intended parents.

We Handle the Travel
We book your travel for medical clearance and embryo transfer, and find you a local clinic for monitoring appointments beforehand, so you’re not figuring out logistics on your own.

Zero Cost to You
Matching, medical coordination, legal, travel, and handling your medical bills: it’s all completely free to you. You get the full benefit of a skilled, dedicated team without ever worrying about a bill from us, so the only thing you ever have to focus on is the experience itself.

How the Surrogacy Process Works
Your Journey, Step by Step
01
Initial Application
& Screening
We’ll set up a call to walk you through what surrogacy actually involves so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll collect your medical records and run a background check before welcoming you into our pool.
02
Matching With
Intended Parents
We’ll get to know what kind of relationship you’re looking for, whether that’s close and involved or more independent, and only share your profile with intended parents who want the same thing. Once you’re matched, we’ll coordinate a first-name-only Zoom call so everyone can get to know one another and make sure it feels like the right fit.
03
Medical & Psychological
Screening
After your match, we’ll coordinate your travel to your intended parents’ fertility clinic, where their doctor evaluates your uterine health and runs any necessary lab work. A mental health professional will also meet with you to make sure everyone feels ready to move forward.
04
Legal Agreements
We’ll send you a list of referrals for attorneys who specialize in third-party reproduction. You’ll work with your own independent legal counsel, and we’ll cover your attorney’s drafting costs to review and sign your surrogacy agreement before any medical procedures begin. This agreement protects you: it outlines your compensation and exactly how and when you’ll be paid throughout the journey.
05
Medical Preparation
& Embryo Transfer
If you don’t live near your intended parents’ fertility clinic, we’ll find you a local monitoring center for your uterine lining checks, so you’ll only need to travel back to the fertility clinic for the embryo transfer itself.
About 10 days after transfer, you’ll go in for an initial blood test to confirm the pregnancy, followed by a second test a few days later to make sure your levels are increasing appropriately. Then comes one of the most exciting milestones: an ultrasound confirming the heartbeat. From there, you’ll graduate from the care of the fertility clinic to the care of your own local OBGYN for the rest of your pregnancy.
06
Pregnancy
& Ongoing Support
Throughout your pregnancy, we’ll stay in close contact, handling appointment coordination, communications with all parties, and any bills that come up, so you can focus on your health and the experience ahead.
07
Delivery & Aftercare
Delivery is a meaningful milestone for everyone involved. Our support doesn’t end at birth: if you’re providing breast milk, we’ll help coordinate that too, and we’ll continue managing any medical bills that come in during your recovery, sometimes for several months after delivery.

Common Questions
Surrogate FAQs
How do I become a surrogate?
Start by submitting your application. If you meet the initial requirements, we’ll review your medical history, get to know you, and guide you through screening, matching, legal agreements, and everything that follows.
Do I need to live near a surrogacy agency or clinic?
No. We book your travel for medical clearance and embryo transfer, and we find you a local clinic for monitoring appointments beforehand, so where you live isn’t a barrier to becoming a surrogate.
How does matching with intended parents work?
Every match starts with your preferences. We’ll share intended parent profiles based on what you’re looking for, including the kind of relationship you’re hoping to build, and nothing moves forward until both sides feel it’s the right fit.
How do I apply to be a surrogate?
Fill out the short form below, or jump straight into the application. If you meet the initial requirements, our team will reach out and walk you through the next steps personally.
What happens if I don’t pass medical clearance?
If you don’t pass medical clearance at your intended parents’ fertility clinic, it simply means the match wasn’t the right fit medically, not a reflection of you. We’ll work to match you with a new family at no additional cost through our agency.
How much do surrogates get paid?
Compensation varies based on factors like experience and the specifics of your pregnancy, and it’s made up of base pay plus bonuses, reimbursements, and benefits. We review your individual compensation package with you personally before you sign anything, so you have real numbers, not a generic estimate.
Can I be a surrogate after a C-section?
Yes, in most cases. A prior C-section doesn’t automatically disqualify you; generally, up to two are acceptable. Your medical team will evaluate your specific history as part of the screening process.
Can I be a surrogate after a tubal ligation?
Often, yes. Because embryos are transferred directly to the uterus, a tubal ligation doesn’t usually stand in the way of carrying a surrogacy pregnancy. The fertility clinic will confirm your individual suitability during medical screening.
